Textco BioSoftware announces public beta testing for the new and enhanced GCK 3.0

Today, Textco BioSoftware announced the beta release of an enhanced version of their award-winning DNA plasmid mapping software, Gene Construction Kit® (GCK 3.0). It is now available for download from Textco’s web site. The updated version features new modules for PCR Analysis, Automated Shotgun Cloning, and integrated Web Searching for performing biological related searches across multiple internet data repositories (KEGG, EntrezGene, PDB, PFAM, etc.) Compatible with Mac OS 10.2 and higher (including Leopard – 10.5), as well as Windows XP & Windows Vista, the new release integrates numerous enhancements and user-requested feature upgrades into this powerful productivity tool.

To participate in the beta testing of Gene Construction Kit 3.0, researchers are encouraged to fill out the beta test form.
